“Say Grace Before Drowning” is a critically-acclaimed and award winning short film about an African refugee mother and her daughter. After meeting her “mother for the first time in six years, 8 year old Hawa is forced to coexist with a woman teetering on the brink of insanity.”

Some parts of this documentary are difficult to watch, but besides that it’s amazing.

Nikyatu Jusu is a great filmmaker.
